PDF files

  • This site makes extensive use of PDF files for Regulations, Route Cards, Results, and similar printed documents. These are generally indicated by the PDF symbol alongside the link and viewing these documents requires the use of Adobe Reader software. In the unlikely event that this is not already installed on your machine, go to the Adobe Reader Download page and follow the instructions.
  • Some of the PDF files are very large and may take a significant time to download, particularly if you have a slow broadband connection. The screen will often be completely blank whilst the file is downloading. You can always check the progress of the download by looking at the status bar at the base of your screen.
  • Don't forget that most recent versions of Acrobat Reader have an inbuilt Search facility allowing you to search for text within the PDF file. Just click on the binoculars icon in the Acrobat Reader toolbar and follow the instructions. This is particularly useful for searching the Trials Sections Database.
